Tas: Five houses and 300 hectares engulfed by fire
Five houses and 300 hectares of bushland have been destroyed by a blaze in Tasmania's
west overnight.
A fire brigade spokeswoman says the fire, which is still blazing in hazardous and inaccessible
terrain in Gormanston, near Queenstown, flared up at about 6pm.
