Former Arizona Gov. Fife Symington (R), who resigned his office in 1997 after a conviction for using false financial statements to obtain several loans, is considering a run for the state House of Representatives next year. After an appeals court overturned his convictions, Symington was cleared of criminal liability when President Clinton pardoned him in January.
