QLD: Police concern over missing pregnant woman

BRISBANE, Aug 22 AAP - The disappearance of a pregnant woman has raised fears for her
unborn child, Brisbane police said today.
Seventeen-year-old Phillipa Louise Capewell, whose pregnancy is two weeks' overdue,
was last seen at her north Brisbane unit by her flatmate at midday Saturday, a police
spokeswoman said.
The flatmate believed the missing woman was going to hospital to have the birth induced
but police have been unable to trace her.
Ms Capewell does not have a vehicle and police said she had little money.
"We are very concerned for Ms Capewell's safety and the wellbeing of her child," a
police spokeswoman said.
