WA:Man arrested over WA double murder
PERTH, Aug 25 AAP - A 47-year-old man has been arrested over the violent deaths of
a man and a woman at a unit in Perth.
Police captured the man after a tip-off from a member of the public.
The name of a man wanted for questioning over the deaths was released by police soon
after the discovery of the bodies in the city's east early on Thursday.
The man was arrested about 9.45am (WST) in the northern suburb of Nollamara, Detective
Inspector David Bryson told reporters.
Ambulance officers had found the bodies of a 29-year-old woman and a 36-year-old man
at a unit in Maylands about 6.50am.
Detective Inspector Bryson told reporters it was "a very brutal homicide".
