SA:Work starts on Livestrong centre
South Australian Premier MIKE RANN says cycling legend LANCE ARMSTRONG wants to return
to Adelaide .. to visit his cancer research centre.
Work began today on the 27 million dollar Livestrong Cancer Research Centre .. and
the premier says ARMSTRONG'S told him he's thrilled at the development.
It's expected to open late next year and house innovative clinical facilities .. alongside
more than 100 world-class cancer researchers focussed on the development of cancer prevention
technologies and strategies.
